You have no idea how immensely relieved I am -- and here I was under the impression that I had to shoulder the awesome responsibility of attempting to deep six the Harper government.
And then came the news that a neutron weapon has suddenly been infiltrated into the PMO, much to my delight. Of course, this blessed event was not exactly shared with me with the intent of putting a smile on my face but it sure as hell has!
I can't help but wonder how long it will take before it goes off...they are not exactly known over there for their patience not to mention their latitude when it comes to margin of manoeuvre.
I figure we can expect detonation in less than six months. Those of you in the know are aware that six months was the threshold last time before the individual disappeared into the black hole -- a favourite destination for successive organizers.

ReplyDeleteThe anti american abortion motion as an opposition day?
The empty rhetoric of incorrectly informing/whipping their MP's, to show up, vote against their own motion, the budget demostrates the party is not prepared to visit the voters.
Sabotage and rumours of them imploding requires an opposition capable of delivering the votes to remove confidence.
After four years of faux scandals, what gives you confidence the latest "bomb" will be any different?
Financial Returns from Political Parties? The Liberals have been ahead and tied for several months in 2009, 2010 and did not find timing right.
In November 2009 the NDP stepped up 1x to prevent the Liberals single "no confidence" vote to seek a mandate.
Since than Dec 2009 - March 2010 the Liberals reverted back to propping up the CPC Agenda through missing votes.
Explain why the NDP will give the Liberals their nearest rival the benefit of timing?
Layton's coalition deal was of a great benefit for the NDP and not the LPOC.
History demostrates if NDP cooperate with Lib Agenda they lose popular support and seats. Are you suggesting Layton is going to repeat those mistakes to stop the right wing neo-con Agenda and weaken his party again?

ReplyDeleteMy mom loves that song and used to sing it when I was young. Doris was a hottie in her youth.
I still need to order the DVD of her in that movie. The Man Who Knew Too Much.
Calamity Jane is my choice.
