Can You Hook Up A Law To A Ventilator?

I can't help but wonder whether a federal law can be hooked up to a ventilator?

I've been watching the Federal Accountability Act in recent months. Events have left the impression that political erosion is well underway and that the foundation of the act could be in jeopardy.

It seems to be one thing after another. Drip, drip, drip...

Surely, this wasn't what parliamentarians had in mind when the landmark legislation was passed. I thought the FAA stood for the Harper government.

Apparently, I was mistaken.

  1. Ronald,

I think is a VERY big mistake for the Liberals to push this without real hard evidence.

The "feces" throwing chimps trying to hit the CPC will have unintended consequences in Quebec.

Ronald who was named a made man by a convicted mobster in the US?

Ironic, some within the LPC can't see the permanent damage to their brand yet by these chimps.

I think a public split, sitting as independents may be the only thing left to save the party.

Ronald it has been ten months since MI dumped Dion.

The by-elections will be another marker against MI that was used by his camp against Dion.

  3. CanadianSense,

I'm looking forward to the by-elections. Not so much to see whether seats actually change hands (one will for sure and another may as well) but what really interests me will be the totals in each riding. Dissecting the results should be a lot of fun for most of us.

  4. By election mean nothing in regards to a general election.

Too much noise about corruption in QC atm. Too much outrage regarding HST in BC and NDP provincial should be putting in big effort to win this seat.

It would be funny if CPC win 1-2 seats and Bloc don't win both in QC.

Are the leaders working the local ridings and are these star candidates?

How much personal captial is invested from each leader?

MI learned how by elections hurt Dion and a shake up at the OLO was just announced.

I think WK days in charge of the Door knob brigade are numbered.

I hope you get your party and adult "vision" back on track.

Canada could use some. I am running out of mocking themes.

Did you see my Liberal bunker expose?

  5. CanadianSense,

Notice how I'm not telling you (or anyone else) my by-elections predictions. Like this government, I'm invoking national security!

Remember CS, policy and platform is not WK's area. That explains why he's still there and we'll need him when the going gets rough in the campaign. You guys will be sending a full spread our way and WK is the best that we've got in counterattack. This is quite literally a fight to the political death.

(As for your exposé, I'm headed there now.)

    Nighty, night.
